Christina S is a Fashion Destination doing business on First Street in Downtown Benicia.

The store offers an interesting mix of clothing and accessories that are often seen internationally and sold exclusively to boutiques. I travel to Europe at least once a year and bring back special items for our clients. I always return inspired by a window display, museum exhibit or observing women in cafés or on the boulevards.

Christina Strawbridge

A long time ago, in a faraway place, a little girl was born to be a fashionista. Starting with paper dolls, continuing with the original Barbie doll, and then at 17, working in a major department store, I knew fashion was where I wanted to be. My Mom and her mother were also in the business, so from an early age, I was exposed to a lot of different experiences related to fashion. In the last thirty years, I have had the opportunity to work as a buyer, manager, two-time store owner, event-coordinator, fashion show producer, stylist, lecturer, field representative for FIDM and writer.

I have evolved from eagerly awaiting the fall issue of Seventeen Magazine to writing a monthly column in Benicia Magazine covering trends in fashion, travel, and life and owning a women’s fashion boutique called Christina S. attend many international markets including shows in Las Vegas. I am always experimenting with new lines and designers.

I have a long list of ever-changing lines of clothing and accessories that reflect women’s needs for social, business and day wear. The store is not about a particular age or size and not even a certain style. We have women who shop with their mothers and grandmothers and remarkably everyone leaves with something.
